Frequantly Asked Questions
No creature is too big, too small, or too hyper for us to handle. A professional animal handler is always on the studio set to help achieve our creative goals for the client.
We want to make this as fun and stress-free as possible for you. Just a few suggestions to ensure things go smoothly. I would suggest a nice long walk approximately 1 hour before the session for your dogs.
Do I have to keep my dog on a leash?
Not at all. You can let your dog of the leash as soon as you arrive at the studio to allow him to get used to the smells and environment. Once they are settled then we ca start the photo shoot
Do you work with puppies?
Yes indeed. There are a few tricks we can use to get puppies to stay still and capture some great photos. Any age.
What if my dog can’t go off-leash?
No problem! We can still get some amazing images regardless! It just means that I will have to spend some more time editing the photos to remove the leash from the images. No extra charge for this.
What happens after the session?
Your photos will be ready for viewing straight after our session. We will sit down on the private screening area together and narrow these photos to about 20 images which I will then email you a link for the private proofing page. This is where you can select the final images to order at your own spare time.
My dog has no training and doesn’t know how to follow commands. Can you still photograph?
Although it’s great if your dog knows some basic commands, the important thing is to capture his/her personality. The best approach is for you and the pet is to relax and have fun!! I have picked up some tricks over the years to help capture some cool poses of the dog.
Can I be in the photos as well?
Yes of course. I shoot humans too. You are more than welcome to jump in the shoot for a dog and owner photo shoot.
